The first is polyethylene (PE), which is mainly used for food packaging, such as household cling film sold on the market.

The second is polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC), which has good oxygen barrier and long preservation time, and is mainly used for packaging cooked food, ham and other products. However, the price of this material is relatively high, and the production process is difficult, there are few such cling films on the market.

The third is PVC, which is made of PVC resin with a large amount of plasticizer (DHEA) and other additives. Supermarkets purchase and package food mostly with this kind of cling film. PVC cling film has good transparency, not easy to crack,  good viscosity and low price.
