The two most critical characteristics of a stretch film are its stretchability and viscosity, and there are two main reasons why the winding film is not sticky:
1、 The quality of the stretch film itself is poor, so it is understandable that it is not sticky.
2、 Due to temperature issues, PIB masterbatch is used in the production of stretch film, and the migration of PIB involves a process that typically takes three days.
In addition, the stretch film is also affected by temperature. When the temperature is high, the viscosity is strong, and when the temperature is low, it is not too sticky. Therefore, it is best to store the finished stretch film within a certain temperature range (it is recommended to store at a temperature of 15 ℃ to 25 ℃).
The daily storage of the wrapped film is also important. If it is below 15 ℃ or above 30 ℃, the viscosity may be slightly poor. In order to achieve the effectiveness of stretching the stretch film, it should be kept between these temperatures. Only by paying attention to temperature changes when storing the stretch film can losses caused by excessive temperature be avoided.
In winter, the stretch film should be stored indoors to avoid ventilation, but it should be flipped occasionally to prevent moisture. In summer, the stretch film should also be stored indoors to avoid direct sunlight, but indoor ventilation should be maintained to maintain air flow and prevent excessive indoor temperature from affecting the stretch film.
